Founded in 1977, the Renée B. Fisher Piano Competition aims to nurture the growth and development of young pianists while highlighting emerging composers. Pianists are rewarded for outstanding achievement in the classical repertoire, and are introduced to performing contemporary music with the commissioned scores that premiere through the Composer Awards.
These scores are available to anyone wishing to play, perform, or teach. Students, and teachers are encouraged to share these works and enjoy!
