The Greater New Haven Youth Ensembles (GNHYE) cultivate young musicians’ love for music through exceptional ensemble training and performance opportunities while providing an opportunity to collaborate with some of the most dedicated musicians in the state of Connecticut.
Committed to equity, inclusion, and community, the ensembles focus on collaborative music-making at the highest level through a wide range of demanding orchestral repertoire that includes works by underrepresented composers.
Concert Orchestra rehearses on Saturdays from 3 - 4:30 p.m.
Youth Orchestra rehearses on Saturdays from 3 - 5:30 p.m.
Rehearsals for both ensembles begin Saturday, September 14, 2024.
Tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year is $864.

GNHYE remains committed to educating and empowering every student so that they achieve their fullest potential, both on and off the stage. Many of our ensemble alums are admitted to the most competitive colleges, universities, and conservatories and go on to highly successful musical and non-musical careers.
