We are proud to partner with the Yale School of Music's Music in Schools Initiative.
Music in Schools provides All-City Ensembles each academic year, open to students in New Haven Public Schools. These ensembles offer tuition-free opportunities for young instrumentalists and singers.
We are honored to host the All-City Beginning Band and the All-City Concert Band at NMS. Both bands rehearse weekly in our Recital Hall and perform on concert programs with our other Greater New Haven Youth Ensembles. Students in the All-City Bands become members of both the Music in Schools community and the NMS community.
