Student of Kumiko Imamura
Abigail Chang, age 13, has been studying the piano under Kumiko Imamurafor the last three years. During this time, Abigail was selected as a winner in theWestchester Music Guild’s Young Artists Audition in 2022 and was awardedthe Henriette McClelland Memorial Young Artists Award. She was selected as awinner in the Deborah Kahan Competition in 2020, 2021, and 2022. She won1st place in the junior division of the J.Y. Park 6th Annual Competition in2021and she was selected to perform at a master class at the 19th BiennialSuzuki National Conference in 2020. Abigail enjoys hobbies such as hiking,playing tennis, and reading.
