OVERVIEW
We are delighted to announce the Neighborhood Music School Unified Ensemble Auditions for 2023-2024. Whether students are applying to one auditioned ensemble or to many, they can audition for multiple ensembles with a single application and audition video!
This year's Unified Auditions include the following ensembles:
- Greater New Haven Concert Orchestra
- Greater New Haven Youth Orchestra
- NMS Premier Ensembles: Premier Strings, Premier Winds, Premier Jazz
- Orchestra Off the Hook
- Chamber 360˚
- Blues Ensemble
- Rhythm Kings
APPLICATION & AUDITIONS
SUBMIT APPLICATIONUPLOAD VIDEO AUDITION** If you are directed to an entry page with a large white rectangle, go to the bottom of the white rectangle and click on “enter your guest password.”

- You may record directly on Flip, or upload a pre-recorded video. Flip supports .MOV, .MP4, .WEBM
- For the video audition, please dress appropriately and follow the guidelines found in the flipgrid application.
- There is a 5 minute limit, so if necessary, plan to play an excerpt. You do not need to use up the entire 5 minutes!
- Some coaches may need to hold callbacks toward the end of the summer. We will keep you posted with details for any callbacks!
