Student of Svitlana Fiorito
Andrew Seel is a sophomore at St. Luke’s School in New Canaan. He startedlearning violin at age 5 and piano at age 6. He is currently a piano student ofMs. Svitlana Fiorito and a violin student of Ms. Akiko Silver. Andrew hasparticipated in a large number of recitals, festivals and competitions, winningawards which include: Schubert Club of Fairfield County J.S Bach Piano Senior,1st Place (2022) and J. S Bach Piano junior, 1st Place (2019); Renée B. FisherAnnual Piano Competition High School Division, 3rd Place (2022); SuzanneCulley Piano Competition, 2nd Place (2021) and Viva-Music InternationalOnline Piano Competition, 1st Prize (2021).
As a violinist, Andrew has been a member of Norwalk Youth Symphonysince 2017. He plays in its Principal Orchestra and was concertmaster ofits Concert Orchestra in the spring of 2021 and fall of 2019. His ensemblework also includes performing in the 2021 Christmas concert at theChamber Music Institute of Darien, CT, the Elm City Chamber Festival inNew Haven in 2019, and accompanying Midori on harpsichord for theUnited Nations Youth Day in September 2021. Besides his interest inmusic, Andrew is a passionate soccer player. He is on the varsity team ofhis high school and plays in the Inter CT Soccer Club off season.
