On Site Overview
SPACE USAGE
- Outdoors when possible
- Large classrooms only (Recital Hall, Dance Space, STEM Lab)
- Student movement restricted to first floor and downstairs
- Windows/doors open for air flow + HVAC Compliance
- Reduced transitions
- Designated bathrooms
- Passes, one at a time
- ATLAS, Preschool, and limited office staff will have exclusive use of the building until plans are reassessed October 15
CLASSROOM PRACTICES
- Social distancing (desks at least 6 ft apart)
- Mandatory masks
- Designated work spaces
- No sharing materials
- Hand sanitizer available
- 1:1 technology
- Outdoor mask breaks throughout the day
ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
- Arrival Window: 8:00-8:15; outside tents for each cohort
- Staggered entrance/exit for each cohort
- Handwashing upon arrival
- Temperature and health check upon arrival
- No late arrivals
- No aftercare
- Parents are NOT allowed in the building
- Pick-up at 2:45; outside tents for each cohort
- ALL STUDENTS MUST LEAVE CAMPUS BY 3:00 at the latest
- ATLAS is not responsible for safety after students leave campus
Health and Safety Guidelines
MONITORING SYMPTOMS
- Temperature and health checks upon arrival
- Students must STAY HOME when sick
- A child exhibiting symptoms will go to isolation room until picked up
- If a student or teacher is exposed to a positive case within the home or tests positive, all cohorts and teachers will transition to remote learning model for at least 2 weeks; we will ask all families to monitor symptoms
- Report any travel and self-quarantine as required
CLEANING AND SANITIZING
- ATLAS will follow all CDC cleaning and sanitizing guidelines
- NMS custodial staff will take charge of deep cleaning
- Faculty will disinfect classroom workspaces each day before student arrival
