Summer Jazz

Summer Jazz 2024

Enrollment is open! Sign up today.

Directed by renowned jazz drummer Jesse Hameen II, the NMS Summer Jazz Program provides opportunities for musicians to dive deep into the world of jazz, learning from seasoned teachers. Over the course of a week, students participate in theory classes, instrument-specific master classes, skill shops, combos, and bands, all filled with fun, learning, and musical development.

New this year!  Students will have the opportunity to experience tap dance through a traditional jazz lens, using their body as the instrument and learning to add on the element of percussive rhythms while exploring the world of improvisation and collaboration.
