Most Likely to Succeed Film Screening

March 17, 2018

Most Likely to Succeed is an award-winning film that will forever change the way you think about education. It reveals the growing shortcomings of conventional methods in preparing students to succeed in the 21st century. It goes on to profile compelling new approaches that promote critical thinking, creativity and leadership rather than rote memorization. The project based, active-learning model shown in action in the film is at the heart of ATLAS (Academic Theatre Lab on Audubon Street), a new independent school for 7th and 8th grades launching in Fall 2019 atNMS. ATLAS founders, Harvard-trained educator Maria Giarrizzo-Bartz will lead a post-screening community conversation. This special event is free and open to all ages. Come join this national campaign to inspire – and empower – communities across the country to revolutionize their schools for the 21st century!
