Yale-China Association Presents - Lunarfest, Sat., Feb. 17Lunarfest is a FREE day-long event offering arts and cultural programs for adults and children of all ages in celebration of the Lunar New Year, kicking off with the Lion Dance down Whitney Avenue starting at 10:00 am. Neighborhood Music School is among several organizations that are partnering with Yale-China Association in celebration of Chinese Culture.This year celebrates the Year of the Dog, and the Lunarfest theme is "People-to-People." Come and enjoy the Wan Chi Ming Hung Gar Institute’s lion dance troupe as they bring good luck and prosperity to New Haven merchants and community members. See special performances by local artists at the intersection of Whitney and Audubon Street. **Please note – Whitney and Audubon St. will be closed to vehicular traffic on Sat., Feb. 17, from 10am-12pm. Access the Audubon Court Garage from Orange St. Free parking available to the first 100 people who come to watch the parade.
