We are delighted to announce the winners of the 2021 Renee B. Fisher Piano Competition, which was held earlier today with virtual auditions. We were honored to have a prestigious group of judges: Melvin Chen (read his biography here: https://music.yale.edu/people/melvin-chen), Russell Hirshfield (read his biography here: https://www.wcsu.edu/music/faculty/russell-hirshfield/) and Eric Trudel (read his biography here:https://www.hartford.edu/directory/hartt/trudel-eric.aspx). Also, Kari Cruver Medina and Otto Wanke, composers of this years' commissioned works, served as the judges for the best performances of their own works.
