Suzanne Sepe

Suzanne has been dancing most of her life and teaching dance to children and adults since the mid nineteen eighties. She holds a BA in art history with a minor in dance and an MS in early childhood education. She has also trained to teach dance to people with Parkinson's by the Mark Morris Dance Group and has a certification in Let Your Yoga Dance for Special Populations from Kripalu. Suzanne was the dance teacher for the Preschool at Neighborhood Music School from 2010-2017. Within the NMS Dance Program, she teaches creative dance, ballet and, her first love, modern dance. Suzanne did her first solo dance performance in March 2018 at the NMS human rights performance event, A Raft of Wings, as an expression of the strength of The Feminine. Suzanne had an article published in the May 2018 issue of Natural Awakenings entitled Feminine Wisdom for A Healthy Planet. She has worked with the special education program at Cheshire Parks and Recreation, as well as leading a class at The Clelian Adult Day Care in Hamden. Suzanne is also a NASM certified personal trainer in Corrective Exercise and holds a certification as an Assertiveness Coach.
