Rosamund Morley studied at Royal Conservatory of The Hague, and received a BA and B.Mus from Carleton University (Canada) and an MA in musicology from the University of Toronto (Canada). She is a member of the New York-based viol consort Parthenia, the Waverly Consort, founding member of My Lord Chamberlain’s Consort. She is a freelance perfomer with ARTEK, the Boston Camerata, Drew Minter and Friends and Piffaro. She is director of Viols West (CA); adjunct teacher of viola da gamba, Columbia University; director of the Yale Temperament; and a regular teacher at the annual Viola da Gamba Society of America summer conclave.
