Originally from Seoul, Korea, violinist, Ran Seo has enjoyed a multi-faceted career as both performer and educator. As an active orchestral musician, Ms. Seo has performed with many orchestras throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. A devoted pedagogue, Ms. Seo has maintained private teaching studios in Indiana, Massachusetts, New York, and California. She has also served on the faculty of the Eastman Community Music School, Indiana University Summer String Academy and many other music schools. Ms. Seo holds her Bachelor of Music degree from Indiana University, Master of Music degree from Eastman School of Music and Graduate Performance Diploma from the Boston Conservatory. Her principal teachers include Byung-woo Kim, Henryk Kowalski, Federico Agostini, Rictor Noren and Markus Placci.
