Natalia Xiomara, born in Panamá City, Panamá, is bilingual, Spanish and English. She is Director & Founder of Spanish on the Green™ a language school dedicated to teaching Spanish language and culture to young people and adults. In her consulting practice, Employment Resource Team LLC, she consults companies and individuals on HR and employment matters. After graduating from The George Washington University’s, Elliott School of International Affairs, in Washington, DC, Natalia worked on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Aide for a U.S. Senator. She went on to work for several international law firms in the U.S. and Europe. Natalia lived and worked in Madrid, Spain for many years, as well as the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy and other European countries working in international law. In 2013, Natalia was awarded the “Woman of the Year” award by The National Association of Professional Women.
Natalia was Program Consultant for The Leadership Center at the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce, where she recruited for and facilitated their two Leadership programs. She also consulted GEM Advertising on business development for the Hispanic and Latino markets. Natalia is passionate about helping those who are economically disadvantaged. She was Program Director for Economic Development & Employment at Junta, Inc., where she created Junta’s Employment and Re-entry programs, serving the Latino community of greater New Haven. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Center for Children’s Advocacy.
Natalia is a member of The American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese, The Human Capital Institute, National Association of Professional Women, International Leadership Association, National Career Developers Association, and member of The George Washington University Latin American Alumni Association.
