Why I teach at NMS--NMS is such a special community. Walking through the halls on the way to my clarinet studio, I hear the sounds of so many different instruments and voices and see enthusiastic musicians and dancers of all ages engaging with each other. The impression NMS radiates is that of a dynamic space, alive with the possibilities that a creative life offers.
Fun fact--I collect fountain pens and use them daily to write!
