Jennifer Sciglibaglio earned a BFA in musical theater from SUNY College at Fredonia and an MM in vocal performance from Syracuse University. She studied with Dr. David Evans, Julie Newell, Helen Boatwright and Dr. Julianna Sabol. Ms. Sciglibaglio was a member of the voice faculty at Setnor School of Music at Syracuse University and has also worked as a vocal coach, scenes director and accompanist. Her roles range from Sally Bowles in "Cabaret" to Miss Wordsworth in "Albert Herring" on the local and regional levels as well as in Europe. She is a certified Music Together teacher and past member of Empire Opera Theatre Company, performing original children’s opera in elementary and junior high schools.
Jennifer has worked with Quinnipiac University Theater Department as Musical Director for their production of "Next to Normal," Spring Glen School as Music Director for "Aladdin Jr." and Director/Music Director for "Phantom Tollbooth Jr." She has joined the faculty of the Music Theater Workshop here at NMS. Jennifer is also the Music Director of the New Haven Resistance Choir.
