Jameon Moss

Tenor, Jameon Moss, is quickly establishing himself as an artist in opera, concert, and recital.  Mr. Moss made his professional debut in the fall of 2014 as Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor with Main Street Opera, which was quickly followed by his debut with South Shore Opera --where he was met with praise and laud in the Hyde Park Herald for his "style and flair" as Duke in Rigoletto. In the winter of 2015, Mr. Moss was an apprentice artist with Sarasota opera covering the role of Count of Lerme from Don Carlos, and also covering the role of Tybalt from Romeo and Juliet  at Aspen Opera Theatre in the summer of 2015. 2016 engagements included appearances with Kentucky Opera as a studio artist in Showboat, performing Gherardo and Larry/Matt from Gianni Schicchi and The Face on The Barroom Floor respectively as a studio artist with Fargo- Moorhead Opera and covering Dr. Caius with Des Moines Metro Opera--  as an apprentice artist. Also, an active educator, Mr. Moss has taught music in Illinois and Connecticut. He is currently music instructor at Amistad High School-- New Haven, CT. A native of Thomson, Georgia Mr. Moss received his MM from Northwestern University, and his BA from Morehouse College
