I’m an attorney at Shipman & Goodwin LLP and practice in real estate development, commercial financing, commercial leasing and land use counseling. My experience includes counseling clients in the acquisition, financing, development, leasing and disposition of commercial, mixed-use and multi-family residential properties, further appearing before various municipal land use boards and commissions throughout Connecticut. I also represent hotel owners and purchasers in the acquisition and disposition of luxury, historic, boutique and franchised hotel properties throughout Connecticut, and developers and investors in government loans, grants and tax credit syndication transactions, including historic rehabilitation tax credit transactions and low-income housing tax credit transactions. I am a member of the CBA Special Committee on Standards of Title, a member of the Executive Committee of the CBA Real Property Section, a James W. Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation and have served on the committee that recently revised and updated the New Haven County Closing Customs. I have been named a Connecticut SuperLawyer: Rising Star in Real Estate from 2015 to the present, am a rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, and recently have been recently named a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. When not practicing law, I practice music at the Institute of Sacred music at Yale University as a member of the Yale Camerata and the Yale Camerata Chamber Chorus. I am admitted to practice law in the states of Connecticut and New York, and hold degrees from the Quinnipiac University School of Law and the University of Connecticut.
