I got to know NMS in 2008, when my son Teddy began violin lessons with Carl Shugart at age 5. I am a lifelong music lover and wanted music to be part of my children’s world, too. Teddy soon got involved with the wonderful Saturday morning chamber ensembles run by Grace Feldman, while my other son, Henry, took up cello. NMS has been a wonderful part of my family’s life ever since. I am a lawyer by profession. I served as a federal prosecutor for the Justice Department in Washington, DC and Connecticut for 15 years, before going in-house in 2014 at United Technologies Corporation. I am currently Vice President and Associate General Counsel at UTC, with my primary responsibility consisting of overseeing and conducting compliance investigations around the world. I received my law degree from Duke University and my undergraduate degree from Marquette University.
