Deborah Lifton is passionately committed to equipping both opera and musical theater singers with the technical and artistic tools for success. She has served as a faculty member at New York University, Ithaca College, West Conn, Syracuse, and Cornell. A number of Deborah's students have received scholarships in vocal performance from prestigious programs such as Boston University and The Juilliard School; others have performed leading roles on Broadway. Founder and Artistic Director of College Audition Advantage, she is currently teaches at West Conn, Ithaca College - NYC and the Educational Center for the Arts. Deborah also maintains an active performing career as a coloratura soprano specializing in contemporary repertoire, and has won several national competitions. She holds a B.M from the University of Michigan and an M.M. from Manhattan School of Music.
