Alan H. Bowie Jr.
I am a lifelong resident of New Haven, with the exception of my years in college and law school. I am a graduate of Howard University and the Wake Forest University School of Law. In 2016, I returned to Connecticut and joined the firm Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP. I practice primarily in the area of labor and employment law but also practice in other transactional and litigation areas. My affiliation and familiarity with NMS began nearly 20 years ago. My grandfather, William W. Bowie, was a longtime instructor at NMS. I began my personal journey with NMS in 1999 when I began taking Viola lessons with Grace Feldman. In 2017, I returned to NMS to take piano lessons. I believe that music instruction provides strong discipline, accountability, and provides an invaluable foundation for children.
