With a career on the operatic staging spanning nearly 15 years, music and singing have always been deep passions for Aaron, which he enjoys sharing and teaching with others. As a member of the prestigious Opera Iowa traveling troupe, he spent three years teaching opera and voice to a wide variety of communities with ages ranging from seven to seventy years old. During his time as Yale, Aaron had his own small studio consisting of beginners to more advanced singers. In all cases, Aaron brought his commitment to engaging each student in their own abilities and showing them the inherent joy of making music. For Aaron, teaching is about much more than correct pitches, rhythm, and language. It is about finding the underlining motives and emotions behind those objectives and instilling the confidence in students to seek out the answers for themselves.
