This concert celebrates the 250th anniversary of Georg Philip Telemann’s death (1685-1767). Here’s a glimpse as to why Telemann was considered the most famous of all Baroque composers in his time. This program includes fantasias, sonatas, a seasonal cantata and a sprinkling of works by other Baroque composers. Featuring Rosalind Morley (violas da gamba); Sarah Reed, soprano; Hideki Yamaya (gallichon/lute); Lawrence Zukof (recorders).
