Randy Teel

I've been involved with NMS since 2007 and a board member since 2016. My children have loved NMS' music, dance, and preschool classes, and I've loved being a parent and helping to guide the school. My background is in biopharmaceuticals, most recently at Arvinas in New Haven, where I lead corporate strategy, investor relations, and commercial development. Previously, I was VP and Head of Strategy at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, where I led long-range planning and partnered with the R&D and Commercial organizations as they developed inline and lifecycle management strategies. I began my career at McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm, where I was an Associate Partner and advised biopharmaceutical clients on issues in commercial, medical, and development. I also served numerous other clients in the healthcare industry, including device makers, insurers, and pharmaceutical distributors. Prior to McKinsey, I received a Ph.D (Immunobiology) from Yale University and a B.S. (Biology) from Gonzaga University. I am also on the board of Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services (IRIS), another not-for-profit in New Haven.
